In our two new additions to our Readeo Library this week, storybooks launch a child’s imagination.
In Lola Loves Stories by Anna McQuinn, illus. by Rosalind Beardshaw, each Saturday, Lola goes to the library with her father to check out books. The books she reads inspire her to pretend she’s a fairy princess or building a house. The boy hero of Me and My Dragon by David Biedrzycki fantasizes about all the things he’d do if he could have a fire-breathing dragon for a pet, such as help his neighbors melt the snow in their driveways.
