Let’s Do Nothing!

Dear Readeo Friends,

Free time is the best time – that’s the message of Tony Fucile’s Let’s Do Nothing! In our often over-scheduled world, sometimes just letting your imagination go wild is the best activity of all.

And our other pair of new children’s book titles, illustrated by Debbie Lavreys, allows you to do just that. You may recognize her illustrations from our other Readeo titles, Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. All of the parts of the Brothers Grimm tale Rapunzel play out in Lavreys’s illustrations, from the witch calling out, “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!” to the golden-haired heroine’s visit by a prince in her high tower. Lavreys’s heartwarming images of what the star of The Little Match Girl sees when she lights her matches to keep warm will help children to accept her journey to heaven to be with her grandmother in this classic bittersweet tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
