The Problem:
Access to books is the single biggest challenge in literacy development in the United States. In middle income neighborhoods, the ratio of books per child is 13 to 1. However, in low income neighborhoods, the ratio is 1 age-appropriate book for every 300 children!
How We’re Helping:
Each time a new Member joins Readeo, we give a book to a child in need through First Book, a leading non-profit in the children’s literacy space. So, refer a friend and help us give a book to a child in need!
